I agree with you, that any raise will come after an announcement because it is more likely that a raise can be made at a higher price. I still think Steam Engine gold will have a component of toll treatment to get the ball rolling. Any raise will be a catalyst for growth given the size of the porphyries. It should be minimal with JV's. But that is speculative opinion and has not been announced.

However, here there is the good prospect of getting money up-front for farming-out the nickel tenements. If decent money, then that would obviate the need to do a dilutionary CR until the potential of Bottletree or other relevant tenements as possible minable deposits had come to be realised
The big point to consider, regardless of the varied opinions by HC posters, is that as at 31/12.was about $1m in kitty. ASs a result, a financial wedge is at play imo.
Anyway, we should be assured that 'all will be fine' as regards raising much-needed working capital, given what the MD said in the last Cash QR: "The Board expects to be able to continue its operations and to meet its business objectives as it believes it would be successful in raising any further cash required
to fund its operations." Now, that is a confident statement. What we do not know of course is how it will happen. My money though is on the nickel farm-out nag.
