You can look at any profession the same way. Take doctors for example. Do you know how many routine surgeries are stuffed up? Do you know how many times doctors intervene in a patients physiology only to compound the problem or start a whole new chain of negative events?
We are raised to trust professionals and to assume that they know better than we do. I think this is fraught with danger. For one to prosper in this world, you must think for yourself and think outside the box. Just my opinon.
