Chances are that this buying is not them but I was just thinking out loud on what type of buyer this might be.
One thing for sure it's not short term traders buying to sell into the upcoming news. That type of buyer was much more likely to have waited for 12.5 or even 12 on a day when the market is down 1.9%.
The best thing about today's buying is that many of those traders are probably selling today so we will have less "selling the news" trades when news does drop.
I can't wait to see the top 20 next week but I won't be surprised if the buyer holds through a nominee so we won't see who it is.
