Yeah, I think that's a bit of a stretch to say he was honest and open in all his emails.

I wasn't paying 100% attention to all of today, but I did hear the response where ASX asked about the Visa Suspension and the response said it had been referred to an external auditor.

Now, yes, it is true that ISX had asked an external auditor to look into it - and we heard Collinson quote an email saying that ISX had asked them to do that a couple of days before the ASX enquiry - so yeah, that's true. No doubt about it. And JK had legal advice, so that's true, too. So he was honest when he said it had been referred to an auditor. But he wasn't open because at that stage he already knew that Visa had said "yeah, nah" even though they'd referred it to an external auditor.

And we also know that that was written so that it wasn't clear who had referred it to an auditor.

    So honest - maybe.
    Open? Not so much.

And that is part of the problem.

We also heard the own goal tweet get read out in court today - when we know that ISX had already received the VISA letter at the same time as he tweeted the Own Goal tweet. That's neither open or honest. It might have been mistaken, and maybe Collinson was mistaken in using it in court, but if he was instructed to use it in court - well, you can draw your own conclusions.
