Long term holders will be reluctant to sell unless they are well in profit but why sell when you will have return of capital followed by franked dividends a little further down the track.
No expert here but given SMN's earnings will mostly be in US dollars does that impact on the ability of a company to declare franked dividends?
But big benefit with earnings in US dollars as when they convert to AUD there is a pretty good multiplier come into play.
