They do 80% met coal, 20% Thermal.
Met coal prices have risen, offsetting any fall in revenue on Thermal.
They have no debt, so cost will fall.
They also have approvals in the bag for expansions, unlike other coal companies which are finding it increasing difficult to get approvals for new mines.
El Nina has now gone, so costs of production will fall as flooding dissipates.
The are gonna make another $3.5bn this year.
Should have held a couple of extra days for the 10% dividend and 5% franking credit!!
The only concern is the low free float of around 10%. This actually reduces volatility of the stock, but you may wake up one day and a major investor has sold their whole stake at a 20% discount.
Please fix the parts in bold thx. I dont normally like to correct factual inaccuracies for strangers on the internet but the # has far exceeded my tolerance level and i cant move past it.
