Numbers don’t lie. Only 30 countries in NATO, but military basis in over 80 nations! So, you are saying that they are there, just so the locals in those nations can benefit from the US soldiers on a pay day ( ladies mostly). The US citizens footing the bill for their soldiers overseas excitement.
No strategic interest to have military bases in over 80 countries in the world and the US does not want a sphere of influence, according to you.
