The suspense of what will happen in the next few weeks is killing me...

    Will MIN close the offer?

    1) If they don't they essentially provide a minimum safe base price going into the drill. No downside good potential upside. Nice!
    2) They close the offer. Share price drops a little. Everyone loads up. It's below the base price MIN was paying with plenty of upside. Cheap Entry. Nice!

Will past holders get sellers remorse and come back?

MIN was one of the stocks to be on last year. It doubled on the back of Lithium and Iron Ore price rises. But commodities are tough to predict. Lithium has dumped and is still falling and Iron Ore might be topping out. MIN Is now down 14% from peak. Someone accepting MIN's NWE offer in Jan or Feb would have assumed the Takeover was a done deal, 80% for sure and CGT relief. Buying into a strong stock that should go up... Roll forward to March. CGT relief very unlikely MIN's share price is down 14%, global risk, market jitters...

Many holders (our BOD included) will most likely need to sell to cover tax. They are already thinking got to sell some should I sell more or all of them? With no CGT relief in place will they hold MIN?

Once you sell and put some aside for tax then where do you go? How many might put a cheeky 20% back into NWE for old times?

Will the Board resign, will they buy back in?

I'm sure the Board were told this is a done deal I have the numbers it's over. Yes they recommended the offer and accepted. Given no further options or incentives the salary would look pretty meagre compared to what they have in the bank. Staying will be a very high stress role. Stuck in between a cranky CE and tough nut holders. Will they resign, will they be pushed and replaced? Have searched and can see no reason at that point they can't buy back in. They more than anyone here should know what is there.

What will happen on the Drills?

Just read @OldGeo, @alexei ii, posts. Nothing to add there.

All pure speculation and random thoughts not advice. DYOR.

NWE has been a very profitable stock. What I did not expect was for it to be so damn entertaining! Don't get me wrong it has been an absolutely terrifying rollercoaster sort of fun. Huge thanks to all the posters!

Can't wait for the next few weeks to unfold!
