VAN haters I know you must be suffering from VAN withdrawal symptoms but get over it! VAN and Bruce McInnes (BM) have ‘left the building’ but let me remind you what BM had achieved for VAN holders over the last 7 years.
Firstly, VAN ‘s BOD starved off 3 potential bankruptcies during this period. BM then successfully defended two legal cases, one with ZAG who was claiming 50% of K2 but ‘won’ 4.1 % of K2 and SGI who were claiming 40% of all 42 tenements but ‘won’ the possibility of earning up to 50% of one tenement K2. Profits from ZAG and LSR share trading were used to fund our defence of Marymia.
For the first 3 years BM took no salary, paid for his own shares, and like the rest of the BOD had a high % of vested interest in our company.

And finally, BM and BOD had built up a prized asset that eventually attracted the interest of a Gina Rinehart and de Crespigny led MINING company! This took VAN from a $2m MC to an exit of $70m MC.

Is BM an egotistical cantankerous git? ABSOLUTELY but ask the shareholders of SGI, ZAG, and LSR are they happy with their CEOs’ and BOD, whose performance has led to a combined MC < VAN’s with uncertain futures and I reckon they might view BM as director who at least tried his best and held all of shareholders interest at heart!
