What steps would need to be taken? Corporation Law talked about on numerous occasions - a majority shareholder cannot vote to the benefit of itself and to the detriment of the minority shareholder (NWE). Q - What would the potential impact to NWE SP be if delisting was to occur? - You would receive the offer at the minimum, when and if that were to happen in the future - ASIC require a faire valuation for the shares being compulsorily acquired. Q - How could remaining holders trade shares at that point and would the only likely purchaser be MIN? Could they drive the price lower? - if talking about delisting - answered above otherwise we have 1.93billion shares SOI in NWE - tradeable on market and operate as any other company on the ASX and if the drills bring in the gas, as expected, the open market will look after the share price and the risk is if we don't find the gas, the open market will also again, look after the share price. correct in my view. in my view, this is what to expect in terms of trading from here on: there will be a group of market makers that will continue to "trade" NWE stock - amongst themselves. they will put the price up and down like a yo yo, hoping to throw people off the horse by playing with their expectations and fears. I reckon min will keep the offer open until they get at least 75% - so they can pass special resolutions. This is a big hurdle for them. Once they get to 75% there is a good chance they will keep it open to get to 80% - to keep their friends happy by removing their tax liability. the shills are active on this forum... very cunningly working the crowd... gauging sentiment and playing people to get then to sell on market. anything substantial sold on market will make its way into mins pocket. This is a one way valve. in my view, it is critical for the hold outs that MIN DO NOT get to 75%
