Misty, not all mining companies make "super profits". there are an enormous amount of costs and even greater amounts of risks involved in mining.
I seem to remember holding shares in a particular mining company, that although profitable, hit some hurdles and quickly went bust.
I didn't here Rudd coming out and saying that the government was going to bail my company out.
This is a scam and just a new tax.
It won't get through the current government and the only hope of Rudd getting it through is if he gets a majority in the Senate.
It ain't gunna happen!!!
