You have to give credit where its due, ctindale so far has been right and also rowingboat has a good understanding of gold equities, since early 2009 gold equities (apart from a few with slr being a standout) have just shocked and dissapointed, the level of thier underperformance is just amazing, seem no amount of reasonable rise in the POG has made the SP rise, look at fridays effort after a masive 70$ rise in the POG, nealry all the smaller end fell and fared not one bit better than specs in other sectors, this same sector will then refuse to fire on days when the market rises and gold is flat, ive had a fair chunk of my capitol in igr since 2008 and in fact like most goldies i would have fared better having my money invested in the commonwealth bank..
