Regarding free accounts etc there's a russian mob that let you open a demo and get all the free fourex data and charts you want forever. I haven't tested chart speed against others as I generally watch higher timeframes.
Ignore their news feed unless you speak the lingo. My missus has asked who the russian chick is in my office and I just tag her along.
