Wasko - you seem to have never contributed on the BOT forum before, so forgive me if I think you're just another downramper with an agenda. Perhaps not. But some facts around Miradry from the International Hyperhidrosis Society (look here: https://www.sweathelp.org/hyperhidrosis-treatments/miradry.html ):

• MiraDry was cleared by the U.S. FDA in 2011 (12 years ago!)
• MiraDry operates by destroying the sweat glands
• Typically, experts recommend that patients try antiperspirants first (over-the-counter “clinical” strength and/or prescription formulations) and then, if needed, progress to more invasive treatments. (Anybody know a prescription formula that produces even better results?)
• Miradry is about $3000 per treatment - some patients need 2 or 3 treatments in a year.
• Common and minor side effects of MiraDry include underarm swelling, redness, and tenderness lasting for several days. Numbness and tingling can occur in the upper arm or armpit and may last for about 5 weeks.
