This may be common knowledge to some here but I found this just now when doing a bit of research on the State Street Corporation:
Does BlackRock own State Street Corporation?
"Fintel reports that BlackRock has filed a 13G/A form with the SEC disclosing ownership of 27.70MM shares of State Street Corp (STT). This represents 7.5% of the company.7 Feb 2023"
So, are we seeing them acting together to manipulate the stock. Under Australian rules I can't do it as an individual, but STT and Blackrock can? Are they buying and selling to each other thus manipulating the sp which drags a lot of retail holders into selling, unable to keep holding?
Be gentle guys, just trying to understand.
