CS is not dead yet but additional Saudi support will no longer be forthcoming. I can't gauge the significance of this without knowing more. Others may wish to comment.
CS is way too big to fail. It's risk exposure has been under the microscope for some time and this visibility and associated remedial actions that may save it (for now)
Having experienced the GFC I have this evidence free gut feeling that an epicentre may emerge somewhere else. What happens next will of course depend on how the market views CS liquidity and collateral.
