Look, I don't know what criminal negligence laws exist, so I can't comment on that. I really can't prove anything, but IMO it is a 1 in a million chance they knew NOTHING about what was to come and are truly naïve to the situation (where we are at now), but the degree they have missed guidance by (especially considering the updates between November and March) are so severe it begs the question as to how that would even be possible.
I just think they had to have known - but instead of saying this 1, 2, 3 years ago and giving us any glimpse of honesty, they lied and lied and lied, and gave shock horror downgrades. Lying about a CR in November then hitting us with this in March. Missing guidance between November and March by more than 100% of NPAT, this is not okay for people on salaries north of $500,000 and salary packages up $1,000,000, especially when it is at the expense of other peoples capital.
