I have read today there is great concern about Credit Suisse (CS) bank and that the banking crisis may spread further. Morningstar is saying Credit Suisse either needs a capital injection or each part sold.

ECB meeting about the crisis at CS and there seems to be a real panic about the CS situation in markets. CS is a very big bank so if it goes down it will have a huge impact around the world and a real contagion impact.

Lots of experts suggesting the banking crisis may get a lot worse but they don't how bad it will become and how long it will take.

Gold miners share prices are down today even though POG is up - but not surprised about this and expect panic selling in short term even of gold shares. The same happens in every crisis but after the initial panic gold miner share prices go up (a lot).

If the banking crisis gets worse and goes on longer, I expect a big increase in POG and a lag impact on gold miners SPs.

Some of the short-term weakness in gold miner SPs may be due to margin calls on other stocks.
