It's true though, once they have initiated a position, the next step is to buy (in order to realise a profit/loss). Basically, Tempting Trade is going to be a guaranteed buyer!! Sometimes short positions have the negative of increasing sell pressure, but in the case of NEU there was so much buying volume coming in that his short position would have had no negative impact on the share price. We should be happy that he is shorting (although he should be fearful)
