    that’s exactly what’s happening.

    If current shareholders want to hold strong, then the share price should appreciate as you have ample demand for shares. Problem is people are jumping ship (probably a rational decision given the circumstances). Annoying if they get forceably acquired, or eventually relent though and have missed out on the min dividend.
