There is a floor price to the payment (so payments each month?/quarter even if no sales...). But payment does increase when times are good.
Royalty is USD..... which is why it varies between quarters (shown in AUD)
Somewhere towards $20M AUD all up is being sent that way.

Got rid of another broker yesterday. The sell order timestamped at 09.59.48 for the alphabetical A stock did not get put into the match... held then executed at 10.00.02
That cost me 10% of the trade profit to not get the match.
After 2 long chats with them I then spent some hours transferring stocks out to other HINs.
1st world problem.
I do not need advice on that.
