Yes, I think it's possible that the CR is just a strategy to beat off an attack and nothing else.
When you say the company shares were 3c, well they were, in my view, deliberately forced down to those levels. Not intrinsic value. The selling last week was ridiculous. I suspect whoever pushed them to 3 cents is also pretty sure they are worth a lot more somewhere, or to someone, else.
The CR discount is scary. But look where this raider dropped the share price over the last 3 months. From about 5c to 3.1 cents. And even at 5 I used to think it was weird how it wouldn't budge higher with recent news.
I know, conspiracies are easy to spout. But this is the market, and opportunistic raiders and other bad guys do exist.
Maybe the media will like the story and we'll get some information soon.
