If God really existed would it not be so obvious that
- we would have nothing to argue about?
- he would know more about his own creation than is recorded in his so-called inspired texts?
- he wouldn't have to repeatedly correct stuff-ups reported in his so-called inspired texts?
- there wouldn't be so many competing Gods each vying for attention?
- there wouldn't be genetically inherited diseases in his design?
- ... and so on.
I can't prove there is no God (proving a negative is often impossible) but creating a case for a God is increasingly difficult.
