Have not heard that one - where did you see this information? Sounds like a very crap ct if that is what happened.

I know that the Credit Suisse bank's largest shareholder refused to put extra money but not heard anything about SVA other than the overextended themselves in a risky sector.

Yes Australian banks are far better, however if some war breaks out, who knows what may happen. I read somewhere that all this started when some billionaire who lends money to tech start ups abruptly withdraw all his money from the bank and then when he had done that phoned up all the start up companies he had invested in and told them to withdraw their money as well. This caused a panic sell off. Who knows if it’s true or not, I automatically disbelieve everything an American says to me.
