Who says they aren't there?

In case it has slipped some selective minds here, they has been plenty of willing takers for all that has been sold off. I say "all" but the volume is extremely low which is hardly a sell off.

If you think an insto, or anyone else, wanting to take positions at market is merely going to chomp away quickly raising the sp significnatly higher in the process you are kidding yourself.

They will take their time and take all that drops out due to impatient holders and traders who simply move on. The sp will progressively rise as they slowly but surely take up the shares at each level.

Of course they may simply get impatient themselves and see a threat from another large buyer and the line wiping would begin. That would be nice to see but simply no evidence of that... as yet.

Gus mentioned to me some time ago that we will see a change of the guard and day traders will slowly lose their grip. That doesn't mean there won't be trade opportunities, just that they won't have control as they have in the past.

The turtle will most likely win this race, not the hare...IMO of course ;)
