The pressure is starting to build. I think there will news later today or early tomorrow. I think the banking crisis in the USA/Europe is being contained. Something fascinating is happening in the world of finance. I have been following the markets for 50 years and ALWAYS we have followed the US lead. If Wall Street falls we follow suite. However I suspect we may be starting to see a decoupling. The US economy is in deep trouble and I believe the US dollar is going to fall. However Australasia may not be unduly influenced by this. We are witnessing the rapid rise of the BRICS economies and some major countries have applied to join. Ukraine is about to fall and this will be devestating for US pride and the European economy. The world iis now becoming aware of the USA role in the causation of this war and the US destruction of the Nordstream pipeline was a catastrophic error. Indeed I forsee the end of NATO and the breakup of the EU. At the same time BRICS is about to launch its own currency and is going from strength ot strength. Australasia would be wise to apply to join BRICS. Our economic and security interests lie with SE Asia. We dont want to go down with the USA-European ship!.
