Regulator you are right, that is what he said, however I dont know that I have heard of ASIC calling someone up because a share price didn't jump.
The point is he could have said he did not want ASIC to call and ask why the share price had jumped or fallen.
Yet fallen did not come into his thinking which at the time I felt he was under pressure and made the remark off the cuff.
