I see this change of chairmanship as the final morph of the company what Richard Irving had taken in 2007 as a VC and Startup to what it is today, a commercial entity that is headed and managed by leaders in the field. This is no longer a concept but after the 16 years of incubation, from baby to a teenager, it has now established a firm foothold in the industry.
I only wonder what took Doug this long to decide to take up this position.
