Yep it would be interesting to know. My understanding was that the majority of the market is currently synthetic with some companies blending in some natural graphite. EGR's stated prediction is for more of the market to move to Natural graphite. If most of the market is synthetic then the sample is probably either fully synthetic or a blend of synthetic and natural with a large synthetic weighting.
What we don't know but SungEel would know is the specifications of the graphite that entered the production process. Because this is dealing with production scrap/fails, there should be a robust ability to trace the material and know its stated pre-production characteristics.
I guess EGR want to keep their options open, but it would be good to know if the planned pathway to some revenue from recycling is to construct and lease the equipment for purification of scrap; receive a license fee for every ton processed using the nominated process or some other option. If it is receiving a payment for each ton of scrap processed with SungEel paying for the processing equipment it could fairly quickly provide a nice income stream to help offset head office costs (assuming a deal can be done).
