    According to the WSJ extraction costs for shale gas run around $3.00 per MCF and may even go lower as the technology develops. The massive amount of gas drilled out in the U.S. will have a bearish impact on oil prices. U.S. oil futures have tumbled all week in the face of oversupply in the market place.
