It's not insider trading.
it's just the way it works.
They approach an institution about a CR and the institution shorts the stock and word gets out about it so their mates sell too while they "negotiate " a price.
Happens all of the time as far as I can tell. Unless they go into a halt prior to the approach it's always going to happen.

$5 is pretty good though and they'll accelerate discrete now.
Shit happens.
Annoying that I bought some back $5.80 yesterday though.
