Roo, You pay a premium for the minting process obviously, this is always built into the price of these small tradable bullion coins. I purchase 100 ounce cases so I can trade them in small parcels later down the track when silver is $100 ounce. Mums and Dads will find it tough going to stump up the 10,000 they'll need to buy your kilo bar. They are also Australian legal tender which apparently means there are no tax payable if you wanted to more your silver abroad. I mix of bars and coins is ideal.
