Baz, don't judge everyone by your own standards. I have no financial interest in GDN, although I was tempted a bit until the ann. was made, and I realised how many shares are now in issue.

GoodPunter, no, I do not know better than them. How could I? They have a lot of information that they are not telling you. P1 has been like that for four years. Or more! All that paragraph says is,
a) gas production was better than expected. They don't say what they expected it to be, nor what it really was, nor that it was properly tested.
b) the water rates were lower than expected. This is undoubtedly good, but they don't know why. I would question why, with all this good news, they stopped the w/o when the rig was in position. Why not continue as planned and see what they could really get out of it?
c) when we've got time, we'll try and work out what all this means. In the meantime don't hold your breath, but we'll have another "pleased to announce" announcement sometime later.
