Lets be honest 'The Voice' is a disaster, page-80

When I saw the thread title come up on a refresh the shortened title had me wondering.

Let’s be honest “The Voice” is a di -was what showed up.

I’m not suggesting that there was any wrong with your header but I would have put money on “Disaster” actually being “Distraction”.

Why Albo and his Mob decided to have a crack at a referendum, let alone a referendum on such a contentious issue that has had more money, committees, working groups, representative councils ect ect and with a litany of tainted careers and unexpected floggings in Party approval ratings being the only return for all those previous efforts of past politicians and political party’s.
Is beyond me.

The only plausible explanation, other than this lot “Are as sharp as a pound of wet leather” is that they are trying to “distract” voters from something worse.

I can understand how it’s plausible that the initial idea was floated to Albo as a Statement Piece that would define him as a political giant in Australian history and I won’t knock any politician because they decided to chase the glory but I would have thought, even if he wasn’t smart enough to realise the low rate of success previous PM’s who chased this prize.
That his handlers/advisors would have had a someone to explain it to him.

No good dead goes unpunished and adding another layer of bureaucracy to a bloated, contorted, dysfunctional badly managed section of government must have the coalition pinching themselves.
The longer they can refrain from committing to supporting this folly or from opposing it the better it is for them.

At some point they certainly do have to decide one way or the other, I only hope they have better handlers/advisors than the Labor Party.
