Interesting night in global markets. Continued concerns with European banks. Latest is the Deutsche bank in Germany which is experiencing an increase in its credit default swaps. Strange thing is that there does not appear to be any catalyst for this but it still raised concerns about European banks. All European exchanges were well down.
Opposite in the US - where rises were centred on regional banks.
DOW up 135 points. NASDAQ Biotech Index closed up a healthy 45 points.
