care to explain how our 'founding fathers' did so well in the thinking wise stakes - when they decided that the big brown bit at the bottom that nobody wanted was a great place to take their white social trash - as far from the old country as possible????


then, in their infinite wisdom - made Australia a federation - out of separate colonies -------------- the federation being a gaggle of states all pulling in their own directions -

they couldn't even get agreement on the same train line widths between the rails and they couldn't agree to use one city for a capital - so they ended up with grabbing a sheep paddock between the two biggest ones and called it a capital


fair bloody dinkum ----------- that's a hell of a stretch to say that ''we have a great country thanks to its founding fathers''
