If they were preparing for a blast before the pit got flooded then it stands to reason that one of the first actions when the pit is sufficiently empty of water will be undertaking that previously planned blast to loosen up the material for extraction and crushing.

While good intel on developments like assay's may be difficult to source, undertaking a blast onsite will be something that every Tom Dick and Harry onsite would be able to say happened. I'm not sure if they will need to notify planned 2023 blast timings in the local rag's but that could be another source of info around this (I'm not sure on this). That will basically restart the clock for digging out ore to crush and punch through the DMS and enable some really wild guesses as to production volumes.

Please advise if you hear of (or hear) a blast occurring.
