Dont worry this little gem of a Co is growing all the time, they just keep adding to resources. Really like the sound of this 'Majestic JV beast' as it is Virgin below 150m. Grades are wonderful.
The Majestic Prospect is part of the Monger Joint Venture between Integra (85%) and Newcrest Operations Limited (15%) Integra recently commenced construction of a new gold processing facility at Salt Creek, 22km south of Majestic, as part of the development of the Randalls Gold Project. The tenements for Integra are enormous, they are about 60km in length and 30 k wide. A lot of which has turned up lovely prospect.
Comparatively,The big neighbour "Super pit" is just south of Kalgoorlie and is actually oblong in shape, it is approximately 3.5 kilometres long, 1.5 kilometres wide and 360 metres deep. The "Superpit" situated to the West of Integra ground Originally consisted of a number of small underground mines, consolidation into a single open pit mine was attempted by Alan Bond, but he was unable to complete the takeover. The Super Pit was eventually created in 1989 by Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd.
Barrick Gold acquired its share of the mine in December 2001, when it took over Homestake Mining Company . Newmont became part-owner of the mine three month later, when it acquired Normandy Mining in February 2002. It produces roughly 800,000+ oz a yr at a grade of about 1.6gt
