I know that most TLS investors are generous of spirit and that self interest is of secondary importance, but did you really intend that 50% of your investment effectively be sent to the Future Fund to boost Johnny's political fortunes?
Given that it was the Howard government who set you up for a fall, it amazes me how many of you believe that Abbott will fix it for you! I have know Abbott for quite a while as my former local member and believe me, he is NOT PM material.
Ramping against the Rudd government... must be a variant of referred pain. Try putting the heat on TLS management instead. After all, the Commonwealth Bank, another former government enterprise is now trading at 10X float price. If TLS management had been up to the task then it would be trading at around $30+ by now.
TLS shareholders have a right to be very angry. But direct the anger where it belongs instead of pissing all your energy against a brick wall by railing against the NBN and the Rudd government.
Technology is like a freight train. You get on board or get run over. The NBN is coming. The benefits will continue to be enjoyed, long after the cost has been forgotten.
