Another fresh Santos announcement of 1mil shares bought back yesterday, even with labor / greens bringing in the emissions cap. Assuming Santos have ongoing discussion with the government around these sorts of policies, but can certainly see this as being another negative price catalyst for the industry and BAS in the short term. We await the next Santos quarterly / BAS annual report.
