Yeah mate, afraid there's no shortcut to building your conviction in a stock, and ultimately it'll be that conviction which enables you to hold tight when things get choppy. Trying to hold a spec stock (even one destined for greatness, as this one may or may not be - we don't know) is very hard. The share price is volatile, there's no steady revenue to add ballast to the balance sheet if the wider economic circumstances become tense, and the market cap tends to have a little hope and expectation built into it (quite naturally, whilst it's pre-rev but bursting with potential). When you come to places like HC too, you'll have all sorts of dubious characters firing questionable information and personal thoughts around. You need to be able to handle that. The only thing you'll have to foster the requisite patience to hold through all the scary twists and turns is the conviction you've built up along the way.

So, take the good advice above and carve out some time to do your own work on it. You've bought some already by the sounds of it, which is good. A pilot buy or two can sharpen the appetite for research. Do it right. Take a Saturday and read all the company announcements for the last few years, or at least as far back at the Phase 2b trial results imo. Write notes, write questions. See what the analysts have been saying. Then maybe come to a forum like this and delve into what people have said / are saying about it all. Remember that this is not so much a repository for quality research, as it is a record of holders emotions. However, you'll soon learn who is sharing useful material about the stock, and who is just here to cheer or moan dependent on whether the price is up or down.

I remember an interview with Chris Judd (himself a holder of this stock, as it happens) about pre-season training. He said you can't fake it. He said you just need to get the kilometres into your legs. There's nothing in the gym, no natural or residual fitness, that can substitute for just getting the kilometres into your legs. If you don't do it, you'll be found out when the season starts. It's the same with this. Enjoy.
