It has perplexed me and others why they did not move sooner on this plant, it could be a game changer. It not only will cost way less than a new greenfield project but it will end the PLL $900/t contract price, so more than just one reason to find a way to push this into production quickly and yet they have stuck to their timelines. My guess as to why? Because they want PLL to get some of the money they need for taking the risk back in Jan 2020.
