People aren't responsible enough to own firearms, they similarly are not very responsible in cars either. The road toll has ALWAYS been much higher than the firearm homicide rate, even including mass shootings!
If only specially trained drivers in speed limited vehicles were allowed to do the driving - taxis only - we would very rapidly decrease the road toll.
I hope you agree with this on principle and in fact make absolute sure that you NEVER use your own personal transport. God forbid you're interested in performance cars!
