Cambridge University recently (2023) published a small (n = 16) investigational study using SB gel for hypersalivation, saliva significantly decreased by >40% at the fourth and sixth weeks of treatment (P < 0.001). Safety profile excellent, 3 cases of mild itch that spontaneously resolved. Hypersalivation is arguably a lot more serious than hyperhydrosis, especially when you consider it as secondary to Dysphasia. Imagine choking to death on your own saliva.
