Sadly you are all missing the point with regard to this tax, and in fact tax revenue per se. It is incidental whether its a super tax on miners. durries, alcopops or poker machines. The real issue and i mean REAL is this governments insatiable apatite to spend money, and in particular explode the size of the public service to unfathomable levels. Take your own home budget if you were earning say...50k pa would you have pool man, ironing lady, someone to mow your lawns, ? , would you then have money to eat out , private health? Eventually you would go into deficit. Well this mob are doing just that and then some. The irony of this false economy is that not only is it expensive but it is also inefficient and even worse... superfluous. This has always been the primary failing of Labour Paries the world over.. What I find inexplicable is: It hardly gets a mention......GO FIGURE And so the cycle continues
The sad sad reality is this government will continue to seek ways of plundering us..... but not to build roads or dams or improve hospital waiting lists...nope to feed the only growth industry that thrives under socialist governments......the PUBLIC SERVICE the inefficien, lazy inept PUBLIC SERVICE
