As it would - the whole lithium sector has been trashed by the shorters and current prices are only about half any reasonable value. The offer was only about 60% up on the LTR price at the time - clearly an opportunistic offer that would be rejected, but you never know, LTR is small with mostly retail investors (I expect) and retail investors might just see the little bird in their hand as something they can have rather than wait for a true value to emerge.
