Not trying to pump the price for their own ends, Trade4. Releasing the actual value of LTR shares right now, the price that someone is willing to pay. You'd have to have a lot wrong with you to keep that one in the bag when it's at a 60% premium and sends you to an all time high.
My guess is that they kept the first two spitballs confidential because:
a) they can, and;
b) they knew they'd get more.
How can you be upset about management's strategy here? From where I'm sitting, management are doing just great. Unfortunately, I think they'd probably take a much lower price than I had pencilled in for my own personal withdrawal from LTR (excluding a legacy parcel, I'm sentimental), but at the end of the day these things happen. It happened to me with Atlas (thanks Gina), it happened to me with Kidman (thanks WES), but as much as I want to, I can't really spew about such a high profit margin even if I end up being a bit short-changed due to a takeover.
Let's hope that management aren't happy with $3 and that the sudden takeover interest in our company puts a floor on the price and keeps us out of reach of bargain hunters. My close-out is a little above triple today's closing price.
