If they want to have a say on things that affect them then they have the same right as anyone else. . ....... yep we can all write letters/emails and receive by reply a policy document and a referral to a Minister...... the 6 months later you get another response with a policy statement and a blithe apology that the MP sent my email to the wrong minister and this minister has kindly forwarded my email onto the right minister..... rinse and repeat.
man we get no voice with party pollies. they represent the party and will defend against any criticism or deny any information and completely ignore ones email anyway.
but for over 200 yrs we invaders have been making laws, as well as wars, on these people and only over the last few yrs have they finally been allowed to speak at all.
all the previous efforts to help them have involved white people telling them what to do without even bothering to ask.... no blooms' wonder nothing has made a significant difference over the last 50 yrs.
it is time they were allowed to at least offer some advice.
