This is what I suggest will happen.
AWE will buy on market all the shares listed today at 40c. That will be around 1.3 million. Then the buy side will be at 40c plus a little margin and there will be traders out bidding the 40c in anticipation of the AWE offer price increasing. Awe will still buy through a broking houde at prices above the 40c so that there will be a gradual increase in the SP. It will get to a point where AWE will control sufficient shares to complete the takeover.
I'm holding on until the end.
I'd still like to hear an explanation from AWE as to why the 40c is value. I want to hear from the directors.
The ASX should suspent trading until the directors have issued a statement.
