I have had Covid 19 twice, first time I got severe arthritis in both hands for about a week, I had already suffered from arthritis previously but nothing like this, the second bout of Covid19 the same thing with arthritis, it went away after a short time, but now I have Carpal tunnel, very painful, so I thought I would look for any connections to Covid 19, this is what I found??

Here, we hypothesize that a peripheral microangiopathy involving nerve supply, a viral demyelination, or an immune-mediated irritating antigenic stimulus on synovial sheaths after SARS-CoV-2 infection may all induce a carpal, cubital or tarsal tunnel syndrome of variable entity in genetically predisposed subjects associated with myxoid nerve degeneration.
